Combining the techniques of traditional embroidery, hand tufting, and punch needle, I create pieces of various sizes, scales, and textures.
Today, my works are maps; maps of territories, recreated with the needle to traverse them once again, maps of oneself, intimate pieces and my own travel guides, and maps of heritage, recalling grandmothers or of the women who knotted and forged bonds in our lives, in my journey as an artist.
